La 14ème conférence ESREA (European Society for Research on the Education of Adults) ELOA (Education and Learning of Older Adults)

We are delighted to invite you to attend the seminar titled “Learning and Aging in Organizations: Transformation, Transitions, and Research Challenges for the Next Decade.” This event will take place on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the University of Haute Alsace, ENSISA Lumière, room “Petit Amphithéâtre”. This international seminar is organized as part of the 14th Conference of ESREA (European Society for Research on the Education of Adults) ELOA (Education and Learning of Older Adults). It is hosted by the multidisciplinary Chair “Responsible Digital Transformation” (DémoUHA PIA DemoEs ANR-21-DMES-0003) of the University of Haute Alsace in collaboration with the International Chair on Inclusive Societies and Aging (ISA) of the University of Lorraine.

The seminar aims to explore emerging topics and challenges in research on aging and learning in organizational contexts over the coming decade. It will provide a platform for exchanging perspectives and analyses, featuring contributions from three distinguished experts in the field:

  • Professor Stephen Billett, Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia
  • Professor Matthias Kliegel, University of Geneva, Switzerland
  • Professor Tarja Irene Tikkanen, University of Stavanger, Norway

The seminar will be moderated by:

  • Professor Dominique Kern, University of Haute Alsace, France
  • Professor Bernhard Schmidt-Hertha, Ludwig Maximilians University Munich, Germany, and ELOA network convenor
  • Professor Jean-Philippe Viriot Durandal, University of Lorraine, France
